a Happy Thanksgiving!!!!! I’m gonna be spending Thanksgiving with one of my friends and his family. Were gonna have two turkeys, one for the oven and one deep fried. I’m really looking forward to the deep fried one because I have never had a deep fried turkey before.
I have a lot of things to be thankful for this year. First and foremost all of my wonderful clients need a big round of applause. Without you I would not be able to do what I love, photography. I’m also thankful for my family. Although I don’t get to see you all the time I sure love all of you! My friends need a big shout out as well. They get the brunt of my venting and bad attitude when I’ve been working to much. On the flip side, they are the ones who always find a way to put that smile back on my face. I also want to thank the troops and all of their families. I’m not a big supporter of this war at all! But the fact remains we do have troops in Iraq and they are risking their lives for our country every day. So I hope all of them get to have some deep fried turkey as well!
I thought this video was perfect for today. Enjoy.
Rick and I got together on Tuesday to layout our Cost Rica trip. Our first stop is Pavones which is Costa Rica’s southern Pacific Coast. This is a really desolate area of Costa Rica which is why we wanted to hit this spot first. Well thats not the only reason, Pavones actually has one of the longest waves in the world. The wave is actually a half mile ride! Being from California this is something that I have never heard of! Check out the video below.
Today I spent half my day working on my workshop teaser with Dan Human of Famewalk Productions. I had no idea how much work and time it takes to create a video. I’m only planning on making a 3-5 minutes teaser and I’m assuming it will take at least 24 hours of editing time! This photo was taken with my iphone in Dan’s editing suite.
I figured since I was slaving away designing albums I should share a design with you. This album is from my Newport Beach, CA wedding. Click HERE for the link. The password is MA
Still pounding away at SWP trying to get things done. I also finished my new ad this year for the magazines. Let me know what you think of it. The main image is from my California wedding a couple of weeks ago. I just love the shot so I had to use it.
I also updated my opening slide show to my website. I added 10 or so new images from the workshop that David Beckstead and I facilitaded last month. There is some cool stuff so check it out!

Sarah and Terry’s wedding was like non other! Why would it be when your groom is a famous guitarist (Powerman 5000 & Alien Ant Farm) and the bride is a gorgeous tattooed rock star of her own. This couple let me shoot my style and had a blast doing it. To Sarah & Terry, next time your in town let’s get together for a little jameson!
Check out these flowers!
Terry would tell me stories about how they (his bands) would always mess with the photographer during photo shoots. So I was expecting a lot of mayhem but nothing to big to report about. Although this was the usual response when I asked them to do something they didn’t want to do.
With the workshop coming up David and I are in need of some models. If anyone knows of someone whom might be interested please send them my way. Here are the details…..
The shooting day will be Sept. 10th (which is the day I need models) I will need a morning models and afternoon models. The morning shoot will be in Spokane and the afternoon shoot will be in Coeur d Alene.
I need one more beautiful girl to be a bride for David.
I need a couple for each session (spokane & CDA) This is perfect for a the newly engaged couple or just two love birds who wants some fun and new photos of themselves!
This is non paying but each model will walk away with hundreds of new pictures. If you know someone please have them call my work number at 800-975-7902 ASAP.
(Ok so I have been playing around with my logo for my blog pictures. Please let me know what styles are your favorite)
Amber & Darby had a very large wedding at their private residence in Sandpoint, ID. A lot of their friends flew up from Los Angeles just for the wedding. I’m sure this wedding filled up all the hotels in the area. The ceremony was absolutely gorgeous! The people were a blast, Amber looked gorgeous and the overall wedding went perfect! Theres lots of pics below so enjoy.
First of many of you are probably asking “why this picture below”? Well if you know me personally you know I love PUMA. So when I saw this sweet puma purse I had to take a photo.
I love the feeling of this image!
Ambers first look into the mirror.
Darby getting a little help.
I was following Amber down the stairs when I noticed the long verticle lines in the wood. I really wanted to push the composition of this image, what do you think?
Check out this wedding party!
I loved the umbrellas so much I decided to use them in a couple of my casual portraits. Isnt she adorable?
