My friends over at Seven2 Interactive set me up with this awesome screen saver program. All you have to do is download the screen saver file, (Mac or PC file below) let it load the pictures and you will now have Sean Watson images playing right on your screen saver! What is even more unique….. when your computer turns on your screen saver it automatically searches to see if I have uploaded new pictures. Once the program detects new images it will download them automatically for you! Now, we are in the Beta stage of this so if you find any weird issues please let me know so I can pass it along to the developers.
In time I will have one for my weddings, lifestyle, wakeboard and commercial photography. Until then I will be adding a little bit of everything to this first one. I’m really excited about this (if you couldn’t tell) so make sure you pass this info to all your friends so they to can be as cool as you!

I’m back from Boise and I had a blast! I meet a lot of new photographers and had a chance to talk with some old friends. My lecture went REALLY well and I had a great response from numerous photographers. I even had a couple of them approach me to say “your program was our favorite”! I am so glad that I was able to connect with these photographers. If any of the photographers from PP of I are reading this please send me an email. I want to hear how my program connected with you and for future lectures, what would you like to know more about?
On another note I want to explain a frustration that I commonly have. I get calls all the time from business, magazines and other media outsources about using my images. They usually want to do trade and put my name somewhere for compensation in their publication. This really does me no good as a business owner. I have done my research on this and every time I have allowed this, I have never received any work from it! I don’t want to sound negative or as if I am a snobby photographer because I’m not. I do donate the use of my imagery to numerous non profit organizations if it is for a good cause. I am happy to do this and will continue this practice in the future. People and businesses have to understand that I do this for a living. If I don’t get paid, I don’t get to pay the bills. Which means I don’t get to make these images that people desire to use in their publications and ads. If this is to happen, both of us (myself and future clients) are working jobs that we don’t want to work. I love my job and I want to stay in business! Why am I rambling about this? Because this is asked of me at least once a month and I wanted to educate everyone why I don’t do this. To close this up I found a video on youtube.com of a writer that explains this very well. There is some fowl language but he gets the point across clearly!

A couple of weeks ago I had a “shoot with Sean day”. Another photographer had asked if he could come along on a model shoot and see how I work. So we picked a date, found some models and made it happen. Here are a couple favorites.
