Today I’ve been contacting most of my remaining Brides (except the ones that have hired Jaime Johnson because she takes care of all that for me! She is awesome!) and thats 5 to be exact! These last 5 weddings are going to be amazing and I love that I’m finishing up my wedding season in Hawaii!
I then decided to see what I had booked for Oct. and Nov. and its looking really slow! I don’t like to be sitting on my butt for long periods of time without using my camera. So I figured the best way to get the word out would be to post something on my blog. So here is what I want to offer………
All you new couples out there that just became engaged and want an SWP lifestyle session here is your chance for a deal. The session will stay $300 for 1.5 hrs of shooting. But I will give you a free SWP art image from the session! The print does have to be an 8X10 or smaller.
I’m also going to be getting into the modeling photography/business. If you know anyone who needs to update their modeling portfolio, or someone who wants to get into modeling please send them my way. The sessions last 3 hours and includes unlimited clothing changes and locations with 5 retouched images for $350.00.
Please pass on this info to friends and family. My business is mainly successful because of “word of mouth” marketing from great people like you. Without my past clients recommendations I would not be where I’m at today.
I hope everyone has a great long weekend and thank you in advance for passing my info to everyone.

Hello everyone. Its Sunday and I’m on my way to shoot my second wedding of the weekend. As you can tell I have not posted anything new in quite awhile. Mainly because with my travels and workload I’m a little behind on my image processing. I guess you can say my business is growing and I have a sprained ankle right now (little analogy for business growing pains). So there is going to be some exciting news in the next week or two. I’m adding new teammates to the SWP crew!!!!!
First position is going to be an office manager. This person is going to be answering/ returning my phone calls, schedule appointments, invoicing and collecting payments, etc. The second teammate is going to be my digital asset work-flow leader (DAW). Basically I’m going to be teaching this person all of my secrets to my imagery (processing, retouching, effects, web, etc.). This person is also going to be assisting me on my new photography ventures that are in the horizon. I’m hoping that this will free up more of my time to focus on my photography and growing this empire I’ve created. I want to make sure my clients are getting the attention they deserve and the products I promise in a timely fashion. These new teammates will guarantee this for me and my customers.
With that said please be patient, I am working as hard as possible to get my new teammates up to speed as well as getting new weddings posted. The good thing to this long hiatus of blog postings is………. There is a lot to come!

Holly and Richard are getting married in August at a private residence in town. I cant wait for this wedding, we have some mutual friends and I can’t wait to see everybody. These two were a lot of fun and followed directions really well! I had a bunch of new ideas to test out on them and everything turned out great. Here are some of my favorites….

Richard is a big fan of Honey Buckets…….so we found one to use!

I’m finally home and as usual swamped with playing catch up. The weather was gorgeous for the shoot and I can’t tell you how nice it was to have some sun on my skin! We started the session in Balboa Park (which was packed) and ended our session in La Jolla on the beach (which was just as packed but in a more confined area). Somehow I was able to frame the “extras” out of most of the images (ok, well I know how I did it. But you have to come to the workshop to find out! Ha). Let me know what you think.

Aren’t they a cute couple?

Yes, I’m aware that this image is out of focus. But, I love the feel of it, the sun coming through them, the soft look etc.

I think this is a great image. Has a really nice warm feeling to it!

Ok, this is one of my favorite images from the shoot. I know its a little traditional, but the movement in the water along with the sunset really makes this a striking image.

Just want to say thank you to Cara and Brock for the good time, the beers and all the laughs. When I get the slide show up I will post the link for others to see.

This couple rocks (even though we started two hours late!) California. Mike and Alicia are a fun and spontaneous couple from Hunington Beach, CA and they are one of my wedding couples for neat year. These two had so much fun together, I can see why they want to finally get hitched. We crusied around San Juan Capistrano and found some great locations to shoot at. Usually I have to direct my clients quite a bit, but these two just turned it on and created some great shots. Click on their names above to see the slideshow. Thanks again Mike and Alicia and hope to see you soon!

Well I just got back from Bend, OR
where I photographed another fantastic engagement session. I don’t know if any of you have been there before but its a GREAT town! Not only that but my friends/clients Kelly & Tabitha live there.
I had a great time with them, they took me to Smith Rocks, Five Pines Resort (where they are getting married) and downtown Bend.
I can see why people want to live there, lots of outdoor activities, great community and an even better weather system. Ok sorry for geeking out there. Anyways, here are some of the pics from the session, hope you enjoy.
