Lately I have been really wanting some warm weather. These short and cold days really get to me this time of year. So I went back into my photo archives and found some fly fishing shots that I took this past summer. Just looking at them makes me happy!

I will be at the Coeur d Alene cellars wine bar “Barrell Room #6″ tonight from 6-8 pm. It is their weekly “ladies night” and tonights theme is weddings. Jaime, Carissa and I will be there to answer any questions you may have and share some of our past weddings.
If your not getting married come on down anyways and have some wine!

This morning I received an email from one of the owner’s of Range. They wanted to let me know that they updated their website and ended up using one of the jobs we collaborated on. The job was US silver Corporation which is based in Wallace, ID. This job was the most difficult job to date. Not just because of the mining environment (4500 ft below ground, extremely hot, water dripping from the ceiling plus all the normal hazards) but also because of the restrictions on what lighting I was able to use. I was limited to using Canon flashes when I wanted to bring down my larger strobes with generators. Non the less I am very proud of these shots and I would love the opportunity to do it again.

This past weekend I decided to go through and choose a couple of my favorite wedding photos from last year. 2007 really wore me out. Shooting 37 weddings really wears a man out! So, I decided in the beginning of 2008 to only accept 10 -15 weddings so I could focus on other aspects of SWP. Now that its 2009 I have a very positive outlook and I can’t wait to shoot weddings! I already have 10 weddings booked and I will only be accepting 10 more for the 2009 season! So if you know anyone getting married please send them my way!
