I’m really excited for this week to get started. I have a lifestyle session tonight, some appointments Tue & Wed and a senior session Wednesday. Thursday I will be taking off for Montana with Sydney and returning Tues. Were heading over to her families property on Swan Lake. Were gonna fly fish all the way over and pick huckleberries while were there. We will also be doing tons of fly fishing with her uncle. I guess he is an amazing fly fisherman and I can’t wait to learn from him. I have a serious addiction to this sport and I’m loving every minute of it.
Yesterday afternoon we headed out to explore some new rivers. I can honestly say that I now “officially” have my secret spot. Its about an hour out of Coeur d’ Alene and the location is gorgeous. We decided to check this little stream out and I’m glad we did. The first hole we came upon had at least 8 fish over 13 inches. In fact every hole was like this. I caught my biggest fish yesterday on a fly rod. It was about 14-15 inches and really healthy. There is TONS of food for the fish in this area and they were all fat and happy ! Wednesday is going to be like Christmas for SWP! Canon is sending me a 400mm 2.8, 90 mm tilt shift and a 24mm tilt shift lens. I really want to take advantage of these lenses while I have them. Which means I’m looking for people to photograph. I’m looking for high school seniors, kids and models so if you know of anyone who might want to partake please have them send me an email.

I’m not sure how this happens but I always seem to find the coolest clients. Sarah & Scott were a blast to work with and I can’t wait for September to shoot their wedding. Check out some of these luscious images
